PAINTING WORKSHOPS 2008
tutor Mary Beaney
By popular request, Mary Beaney, well-known and professional local artist will be tutoring her workshops in Pevensey Village. Mary invites you to have fun whilst creating a 'masterpiece'! in a friendly relaxed atmosphere. Mary in an experienced tutor in all forms of media but acrylics are her choice of paint for its versatility. Mary is introducing Mixed Media and Watercolours to the repertoire for those who would rather not paint in acrylics. She sets up at least four 'still life' - to include flowers, vegetables, fruit, pottery etc. (no copying from photographs etc) - a challenge for all abilities and Mary guarantees IT IS FUN!
The aim of Mary's workshops is to get people to overcome their inhibitions - "but I haven't painted since leaving school" - "I can't paint" - "I don't know how to paint" is always the lament. Mary welcomes all abilities, and wants the joyful thrill of the making of art accessible to all in the community
Sessions = 10.30am to 1.00pm and/or 2.00pm to 4.30pm
£6 per session (materials not included)
at the Memorial Hall, Church Lane, Pevensey Village
